At The Furnace we have made sure that there is sound bleed between our rooms so you get the best quality recorded sound on record.

Our walls are made from huge chisel cut rocks (on the outer walls anyway) to make sure as well as no sound going out, there is nothing coming in! The best thing to soundproof a room is mass. Add as much mass as possible is what they all say and they’re right. The problem most studios have is they are extremely limited by space, especially in inner cities and also the dreaded planning permission. Things are a bit different when your studio is remote and on an acre of land.
